Hi everyone,
I hope you are keeping well, and managing to cope with the colder weather.
Okay… in this week’s blog, I’d like you to confess to your own personal obsessions or addictions. You can start your blog entry by using phrases like “Okay, I confess, I…” or “Okay, I admit it, I…” if you like. Don’t write anything too personal though!! Here’s mine:
Actually, to be honest, I don’t think I have any major obsessions or addictions. I like chocolate but I wouldn’t call myself a chocoholic. I enjoy working, but I don’t think I’m a workaholic. I like to eat healthily, but I wouldn’t call myself a health nut. The one “addiction” I guess I sometimes have is that I get hooked on certain foods, and won’t eat anything but them for maybe 2 weeks, and then I’ll suddenly stop eating them, and maybe never eat them again!! For example, when I was in university I suddenly became addicted to “tomato sauce”. I ate it with everything for nearly 3 weeks, and then suddenly stopped eating it. About 2 years ago I got hooked on adding plain yogurt to all of my meals. I ate it with salad, with cold noodles, with muesli. This lasted for about a month, and then I got sick of it… although I do sometime use yogurt instead of salad dressing when I eat salad even now. You really should try it… it’s actually quite delicious!
Okay, so it’s not quite an “obsession” per se… but this is my little “addiction”.
Anyway, enough from me. I’d like to hear about your “obsessions”! Looking forward to hearing from you.

I confess, I'm a movie buff. Actually, I don't wacth movies every day or every week because my money and time are limited. But when I can afford to rend DVDs or go to a movie theaters, I'll keep watching all day without sleeping. Nowadays, we can watch a lot of films free on the internet though I'm not sure it's legal. Sometimes I use it.

Hey Hiroko,
Thanks for your comment. Sometimes in Australia we have "movie marathons". This is a special event at movie theatres when 4 movies are shown in a row after each other. Maybe 2 of them are new release movies and the other 2 are recently released movies, and it costs maybe only $20 or even less to see all of them. These "movie marathons" are often held on long weekends or over the school holidays, and are very popular with high school students. Maybe this is something you'd be interested in??!!
Cheers,
Kris
Hi Kris,
I'm definitely a computer freak.Almost everyday,I come back home, come in my room and turn on my computer before change my clothes.
Then, I cheack the renewal of my favorite blogs, watch anime, listen to web redio programes and get some informations. I think computer is one of necessary thing to live my daily life.Because of this, it's possible for me to do most things.
Hi Kris,
I confess, I'm a chocoholic! I can't live without chocolates. I think I wouldn't go off them. I eat them nearly every day. Yesterday, I ate a chocolate ice cream. But, I'm worried about my weight these days.. I have to keep off chocolates! So, if I become a slender figure, I'll eat them. Thank you for reading my comment.

Hi Kris,
I wonder I'm a chocoholic. Same as Yui, I can't live without chocolates. When I go to a restaurant, I often order a chocolate parfait or chocolate ice cream. I ate SYOKORIKISA in a Godiva shop in Nagadaki last year. It was a chocolate drink like a cold cocoa and very delicious!! I recommend trying it if you are a chocoholic.
Good morning,Kris.
I think I have a lot of obsessions and addictions to talk about.
For example,as you know well,I'm totally addicted to coffee.I drink it nearly everyday these days. There are so many kinds of coffee beans in my house. If you are interested in it,I'll give you some nice coffee beans as much as possible.Anyway,I'm a coffee nut.
Another absession is incense. My hobby is collecting many good smelling incense and candles and aroma oil. These ones make me feel so relaxed and refreshed. You should try it!!
