Hi guys. Did you happen to see the students collecting money for the victims of the earthquake disaster in China on campus today? If you feel inclined, please make a small donation towards their cause. Actually, I believe that there were some camera crews from NHK and YAB on campus today to report on the donation campaign. So, if you watch the news this afternoon or tonight, there might be a segment on it.
Anyway, moving on to today’s topic: what we want most from our jobs. Again, I think it’s difficult to choose just one answer to this question, as most of us probably need a mix of things in order to feel satisfied. Personally, I guess the most important thing for myself is “challenge” – I don’t want to do a boring job – and relating from that, “satisfaction”. I want to feel that I have achieved something, or have helped someone, or have made some kind of important change, through my work. However, I’ve also recently come to realize that “money” is also very important. It’s unclear whether we will be able to get a pension or not when we retire, so it’s becoming increasingly important for us to consider our future financial stability from a much earlier age. As such, having a decent salary is quite important.

I think the most important thing for myself is “challenge” ,too because I want to became my draem come true .If my dream comes true,I don't think great repentance for my life.And I would become a big person and get a lot of money.But,It isn't easy to become draems come true.Recently,I realize that "money" is more important than dream.If I could't get enough salary,I couldn't live in an ordinary life.

I think it is "challenge" that I want most in my job, too. I have two reasons. First, I don't want to get a job that I get bored by, because I can't stand with such a job. I want to get a challenging job. Second, I think a job is very important in my life. So, I'll do my best to spend my life significantly. Anyway, I hope to come true my dream job.

I think "challenge" is most important thing that I want from my job. I want to keep working hard and learning new things of job. I can't stand boring jobs because I think I can't work long time.
Now I work at a restaurant, so I have to remember a lot of things. Many things have changed in a few days, for example, a menu, rules,and so on. It is very hard,but it is satisfying job.

I agree with Kris and Yuji. I think that “challenge” and “money” are very important things. However, I think it is most important thing for me to work in which I can have an interest. In my case, I love watching movies and English. So, I want to work which I can related with western movies.

These days, when I was hanging up with my friends and walking around
Karato, we talked a owner of asian general shop. Her shop was small and that shop's goods were very reasonable, so the shop seems to have not enough profit. However,
she enjoy her job and she looked happy.
